家長經常詢問,是否讓小朋友多吃魚或服用魚油丸有助於提升專注力。
深海魚油含有Omega-3多元不飽和脂肪酸(Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids),其中主要成分為DHA(二十二碳六烯酸)和EPA(二十碳五烯酸)。Omega-3在大腦和身體健康中扮演著關鍵角色,它是所有細胞膜的重要組成部分,而且我們的身體無法自行合成此營養素,因此我們需要透過飲食攝取Omega-3。
Omega-3對腦細胞健康至關重要。它有助於支援血清素、去甲腎上腺素和多巴胺等神經傳遞物質的穩定傳輸,對於調節情緒和認知功能至關重要。此外,Omega-3還具有抗炎和抗氧化的作用,有助於對抗神經炎症,對改善焦慮、憂鬱、專注力不足和痴呆症等症狀有正面影響。
需要注意的是,Omega-3並非藥物,對腦神經系統的幫助並不會立即產生效果,一般需要持續使用3至4個月以上才能觀察到症狀上的改善。服用Omega-3補充品是安全的,且副作用較輕微。然而,由於補充品的規定相對寬鬆,我們應該留意不同產品的品質控制,並作出明智的選擇。
